I know this phase of motherhood feels overwhelming.
That feeling, for better or worse, will continue to wax and wane. It helps immensely to have support– mentorship, friendship, loving connection with people from all walks of life.
That is why I created Third Story Collaborative. A place for children and adults to grow in Waldorf-inspired learning and community. We are an intimate weaving of homeschooling parents with a common goal in mind:
To awaken children’s bodies, minds and spirits (and ours along with them) through thoughtful classes, workshops, and celebrations using Steiner’s indications and our own intuitions as guides.

When the first school opened for the families employed at the Waldorf Cigaret Factory in Struttgart, Germany in 1919, this is what Steiner envisioned– A living, breathing education consisting of conscious, caring teachers and close-knit community.

Designed for Waldorf-aligned families
Our community is for CNY families who are already homeschooling in the Waldorf tradition, or who feel deeply drawn to its rhythms, philosophy, and way of learning.
Small-group classes in seasonal sessions
Intimate classes of 4-6 children unfold over 4-6 week sessions, thoughtfully curated by age and developmental stage.
Layered spaces for children & parents alike
The first floor of our home offers a gentle social hearth for parents and younger siblings. Imagine...shared tea, simple nourishment, and unhurried connection.
Our third story is our intentional, distraction-free learning space.
A living curriculum led by gifted guides

Welcome, I am Arianna.
I am mother to three beautiful constellations with one on the way. We lead a pretty full and cozy life in our big blue house in Syracuse, NY. I humbly consider myself to be a lifelong student– learning from my children, and many incredible mentors and teachers along the way.
I have independently studied Waldorf Education for eight years. I am currently part of the Explorations Online cohort through the Center for Anthroposophy, and will soon receive certifications in both Restorative Storytelling and Deep Puppetry. This work lights me up, inspires me, and consistently offers a guiding hand.
Third Story Collaborative was born from my own longing for greater community and support in our family's homeschool adventure series. I hope that you'll consider writing this next chapter with us.
